What is neoConnect?
neoConnect is the only CME training platform in Germany dedicated exclusively to oncology and hematology. We offer live, on-demand, and in-person training for oncologists and other healthcare professionals interested in oncology. The name “neo” stands for “network and education in oncology.” Our goal is to share the content and findings of current (ongoing) clinical trials with oncology professionals today in order to transform their daily clinical practice tomorrow. In doing so, we provide a platform for exchange among physicians, industry partners, and other stakeholders in the field of oncology.
What does neoConnect offer?
We offer oncology continuing education in various formats: digital (live and on-demand) and, in some cases, in-person. Through our continuing education programs, we quickly and practically convey the latest research findings and current study data to practicing oncologists and other professionals interested in oncology, and we foster dialogue among the various stakeholders in the field of oncology.
Who are the instructors for the training program?
Our training programs are designed by practicing oncology experts—supplemented by specialists in radiation oncology, surgery, pathology, and other disciplines. Registration & Access:
How do I register?
Step 1 - Sign Up: Click the “Register” button in the upper-right corner of the homepage and fill out the form.
Step 2 - Verify: You will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address.
Step 3 – Get Started: Once you’ve successfully confirmed your email address, you’ll have access to all available on-demand and live content, and you can register for our continuing education courses and earn CME credits.
Is registration free?
Yes, registration and all content are free of charge.
Who can access the content on neoConnect?
Our platform and content are intended for oncologists and professionals interested in oncology.
How can I register for a continuing education course?
Once you’ve successfully registered, simply select a suitable course from the “Continuing Education” menu and click “Register Now.”
Do I have to register separately for each continuing education course?
Yes, each course requires a separate registration.
Can I participate in a continuing education course without a neoConnect account?
No, you must first register for the platform and then sign up for the specific course.
How do I get my login credentials for the training course?
You can access the platform using your email address and a password of your choice. After logging in, you can access any training course.
Can I change or cancel my registration later?
Changes and cancellations can be made via “My Account.”
CME Credits & Certification
What are CME credits?
CME (Continuing Medical Education) credits are recognized continuing education credits for physicians in Germany that must be earned through certified continuing medical education programs to keep medical knowledge up to date. Continuing medical education programs are certified by the state medical associations. Physicians must earn a certain number of CME credits.
How do I earn my CME credits with neoConnect?
All of our continuing medical education programs are submitted for certification. Those marked with the “CME” button have already been certified. If approval from the medical association is still pending, the continuing medical education course is marked as “CME pending.” To receive CME credits for the courses you’ve attended, you must enter your EFN number in your profile. After successfully completing one of our courses, we will automatically forward your CME credits to the medical association.
How many CME credits do I receive for the continuing education courses?
The number of CME credits varies depending on the course. One credit usually corresponds to 45 minutes.
Wie bekomme ich meine Teilnahmebestätigung?
Am Ende einer jeden digitalen Live-Fortbildung kann eine Teilnahmebestätigung selbst heruntergeladen werden. Bei einer On-Demand Fortbildung erhalten Sie, nach erfolgreicher Beantwortung der LEK-Fragen (Lernerfolgskontrolle), die Teilnahmebestätigung automatisch per E-mail zugeschickt.
Wie lange dauert es, bis meine CME-Punkte übermittelt werden?
Bei Live- und On-Demand Fortbildungen dauert es ca. 1-3 Tage, bei Präsenzveranstaltungen kann es bis zu ca. 7 Tage dauern (unter der Voraussetzung, dass Sie Ihre EFN-Nummer in Ihrem Profil angegeben haben).
Werden meine CME-Punkte automatisch an die Ärztekammer übermittelt?
Ja, nach erfolgreicher Teilnahme an einer unserer Fortbildungen, werden wir Ihre CME-Punkte automatisch an die Ärztekammer weiterleiten.
Bekomme ich auch Punkte, wenn ich die Fortbildung nicht vollständig besuche?
Nein, für Live-Fortbildungen müssen Sie mindestens 70% der Sendung anschauen, um die Punkte zu erhalten. Bei einer On-Demand Fortbildung müssen mindestens 70% der LEK-Fragen (Lernerfolgskontrolle) erfolgreich beantwortet werden.
Participating in a Live Continuing Education Session
How do I participate in the live online continuing education session?
After you have successfully registered for our oncology continuing education platform, you can select a suitable livestream session from the “Continuing Education” menu and click “Register Now.”
Do I have to turn on my camera or microphone when participating in a digital continuing education session?
No, that is not necessary.
Can I ask questions during the training session?
Yes, you can do so in writing via the Q&A section to the right of the livestream video.
What happens if I’m late for the training session?
You can join the livestream at any time. However, to earn CME credits for the training session, you must watch at least 70% of the live session. You’re welcome to watch the entire session later in our On Demand section.
How can I provide feedback on the session?
At the end of a live session, a button will appear below the livestream for rating the session: “Submit your rating now!” We look forward to your feedback!

Welche technischen Voraussetzungen brauche ich für die Teilnahme?
Sie benötigen eine stabile Internetverbindung und am besten den Browser Google Chrome oder Microsoft Edge.
Kann ich auch über mein Smartphone oder Tablet teilnehmen?
Der Login auf unserer Plattform und die Teilnahme an einer Digitalveranstaltung sind auch über Smartphone oder Tablet möglich.

Wird die Fortbildung aufgezeichnet?
Jeder Livestream wird aufgezeichnet und anschließend als On-Demand Fortbildung zur Verfügung gestellt.
Erhalte ich die Präsentationsfolien oder weitere Materialien?
